White Horse Hill trainers are all certified by the state of Massachusetts to do what they love -- teach riding! They love to be helpful and create a wonderful and safe environment to learn to horseback ride. Many students take lessons from multiple WHH instructors to broaden their horizons!

Judy Sprague: Owner of the farm,  Judy is friendly and out going, as well as a very experienced rider and instructor. She mainly teaches students who have had some experience because of an unrelated heath issue. She has worked with riders with special needs, as well. She is one of our main jumping instructors.

Elise Volastro

Elise is mainly interested equitation and jumpers. She is a very experienced rider, who works mostly with experienced riders. Elise loves to show and knows what it takes to be ready for showing! Elise is a trainer who also works with all of our greener horses over fences, getting them show ring experience, so someday one of you can ride them and win!

Jennifer Calhoun

Jennifer is our resident dressage and flat work guru! Jennifer is very nice and is happy all the time. When she is not teaching flat lessons, she is breaking our youngsters. Jennifer works with them on the ground and gets them broke on the flat and started over fences. (For those who are not familiar with the term broke, it is basically getting them ready to be ridden and then teaching them what riding is. Just like a four year old child, a four year old horse must learn how to behave, so that others may ride them when they are ready!)

Cindy Newton and Sarah Hogue are also available to teach students at White Horse Hill.
