The Latest from White Horse Hill 

Great fun and success for all at Overmeade hosted Humane Society Show! This was our last WNEPHA show for the season (ends Novemeber 30th). We will start showing again with our January 15th WNEPHA Show here at White Horse Hill ! We encourage everyone to come enjoy our heated indoor ring and dustfree footing.

Harmony Hill had great weather and was lots of fun! We had all the trailers and eleven horses. Nicole got ribbons in the Baby Greens with Roxanne and also had fun and good ribbons with AJ in the Adults. Alysha and Diamond, Kiley and Trix and Savannah and Paddy all got lots of ribbons and Champions and Reserves in the Children's Eq, Jr/Am Hunters, Pony Hunters and Low Hunters. Ellen and Piper won the Adult Hunter hack, as they often do, as well as ribbons over fences. Jenn got to show Gandolf and both were great! Sara was thrilled with ribbons in the Modified Junior Eq, as well as the Children's and Low Hunters--all with a broken wrist. Elise and Jenn rode the youngsters to lots of ribbons and championships!

Congratulations to Caroline and Nimmie and Nicole and AJ! Both pairs successfully competed at New England Finals!

WHH Halloween Show was a blast for all who shared the day! Siena, Kaitlyn, Sara R, Kaylie, Alysha, Hannah, Savannah, Kiley and Sara S all had a great time games and races! Ana Lucia joined in for the costumes! We all shared food, fun and lots of laughs!

WNEPHA Finals at Mt Holyoke: What a day! Everything was beautiful--thanks especially to Aimee Boyer! WHH was very well represented with ribbons in most every division we had riders in and fun was had by all! Congrats to all WHH riders--your hard work pays off! Sarah and Paddy won the Hunter Classic! Sara was first in her eq aboard Nimmie. Nicole and AJ won ribbons in all their classes. Kaylie (Trix), Savannah (Paddy) and Alysha (Diamond) had great ribbons in the Horsemanship, as well as ribbons in their eq and Medals! Kiley had some good eq rides on Trix. Ellen and Piper did great with a 72 in the first round of the hunter classic and a good ribbon in that big class. Caroline piloted Nimmie well to a great ribbon in the Adult Medal Finals. (Also an impressive 8th place ribbon, the previous week, for this pair at MHC Adult Medal Finals.) We could not have gotten everyone to the ring and looking spiffy without lots of help and polishing by Dominique and Jennifer!  GREAT JOB!

Great fun was had by all at the Jumper & Eq Show at WHH on Sunday! We had many riders from lots of local barns and all seemed to enjoy the weather and the show. Our walk, trot riders all did a great job--congrats to Sienna and Sara on their first show! Hannah and Kaitlyn had funand won ribbons! Our new pony, Willow was champion with Savannah. Nicole and Roxanne and Kiley and Laney also had fun, ribbons and experience in the jumpers! Several divisions of equitation were held outdoors. Ellen, Alysha, Kiley, Savannah, Lily and Nicole all rode in the eq and got good preparation for upcoming finals. We had as many as 15 riders in the 2'6" jumpers! Some of ours included: Kathleen and Dawson, Sara and Rico, Alysha and Diamond, and Kiley and Trix. Lily and Timon, joined Sara and Kathleen in the 3' jumpers. Such a great day of fun, experience, prep and ribbons! Thanks and congrats to all who rode!

Horses and riders at both Mystic Valley Hunt Club's "A" show and Harmony Hill's WNEPHA Show this week!

At Harmony Hill: Many Championships and Reserve Championships for Alysha and Diamond, Kiley and Trix, Kaylie and Trix, Ellen and Piper and Kiley and Laney. Hannah and Kaylie each won their Medal class, as well! Paula had a successful first show on Flea!

At Mystic: Zip and Nicole got ribbons in the hunters. Championships and Reserve Champions --- Jumpers : Nicole and Roxanne, Elise and Roxy, Sara and Rico; Hunters: Nicole and AJ, Elise and Paddy. Caroline was 3rd in the 3' Hunter Derby with Nimmie, while Sara and Paddy were 2nd and Nicole and AJ were 3rd in the 2'6" Hunter Derby! Also, a win in the 2'6" Hunter Classic for Sara and Paddy! Andre and Elise got 2nds in the Welcome and Speed Stake, and 3rd in the $5,000 class! CONGRATS TO ALL!

 Northampton Hunter & Jumper was great! Everyone rode great and the horses where all stars! Sara, Lily and Jenna did the jumpers and had a blast. They won many ribbons and even some money! Kathleen, Alysha and Kiley rode in the jumpers and the other rings and were sucessful everywhere and had fun riding and showing. Heidi and Caroline stuck to the equitation ring, with success. Roxy, Weston and Andre were Elise's jumper mounts. Elise worked hard and had fun with all of them and they were great! Myri and Denali went as baby hunters to show in their first "A" show. They behaved well, learned and grew a lot. Many ribbons, including lots of firsts and champion and reserve were won, but mostly everyone learned a lot, worked hard and had fun!

Great fun was had by all in the dressage and cross country clinic today! Jenn had everyone working hard on shoulder-in and getting the horses more through their backs. Judy got everyone through the cross country--even those more timid had fun!

Video Clinic, on Sunday, had all riders viewing themselves and others with fun and helpfulness. Seeing yourself always provides insight into strengths, as well as areas that you are working on!

Overmeade (5/29) was a fun day! Nicole won the Adult Medal on AJ. Kiley was champion of both Jr/Am and the Pony Hunters on Trix. Sara had a blast on Nimmie and Cece with great rides and ribbons on both.

White Horse Hill had the pleasure of hosting the Benefit for the Emily Eckstrom Fund on May 21st. There were many wonderful rides. Two college scholarships were announced. Fun was had by all!

White Horse Hill (5/15) was fun for all in spite of a bit of rain!

Emerald Glen (5/8) was lovely! Roxanne and Nicole were champion! Nicole was Reserve Champion in the Adult Eq with AJ. Sara and CeCe also champion! Sara was Champion in the Modified Junior Eq with her new horse, Rico! Our babies went and showed successfully, as well!
