White Horse Hill offers regular board and training board. Full care board (including grooming, holding for vet, farrier etc) is available for an additional fee. All care is given by paid, adult staff. Boarders horses receive daily wormer as part of regular board and paste worming twice annually. The White Horse Hill facility features 36 11' x 12' box stalls (each with a heated Nelson automatic waterer), 3 wash/grooming stalls and a farrier/grooming area. The new main barn also houses 2 tack rooms, 2 baths and an office. White Horse Hill also has a separate four horse barn with adjoining grass paddock for special situations.
White Horse Hill offers both pastures and smaller paddocks. Our pastures are large enough to allow horses to self-exercise and have enough grass to entertain them. Each has a heated automatic waterer and a large round bale of hay. For most it is a group turnout situation--from 2 to 8 horses per pasture. White Horse Hill does have a small sand paddock, 2 medium sized grass paddocks and a round pen for individual or pair (or lay up) turnout. We think most horses are happier in the grass pastures even though that sometimes means more scrapes, but we understand that not all can do this, so therefore offer the smaller paddocks, as well. Most of our boarders choose to have their horses out all day and inside at night, but we are flexible if a particular horse needs more or less turnout. Blankets and boots are happily changed as per owner's direction. Our goal is happy, healthy horses and excellent training and instruction.
White Horse Hill has an indoor ring that is a pleasure to ride in! Our dustfree footing is springy and lovely! We have great lighting. HEAT is the icing on the cake!
